Removing / Replacing Insole?

Do you want to remove and replace our insoles with your own?

I'll give you the best of my knowledge here. However, please proceed with caution, as this modification voids your rights to a return.

The layers between your foot and the ground are as follows:

  1. the insole: leather + poron + texon board
  2. upper leather tucked under, and filler
  3. outsole

Layer 2 is sandwiched between layer 1 and 2. So if you remove the original layer 1, I recommend you glue your new insole down, so that it serves as a new layer 1, holding layer 2 in place.

We've had one other customer successfully remove his insole. He only did this recently, so we don't know how well this modification will hold up over time.
